NAUSIKA EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION

Nausika was established to design, promote and implement educational games for personal development and social transformation.

.

The aims of education, as we see it, are:

  • raising creativity among the youth and maintaining it among the adults,
  • empowering personal skills by conscious work on emotions and attitudes,
  • preventing radicalization and prejudices by critical thinking,
  • promoting sustainable development, permaculture, urban gardening,

.

The various outputs of our work include:

  • narrative games (RPG, LARP, storytelling, argumentation, simulation)
  • board and card games, including big scale mega-games
  • customized training programs for teachers, youthworkers and teaching institutions

 .

By the year 2024, we have run over 30 GRANT PROJECTS, mostly on the European Level, in the fields of educational innovational, climate change and cultural heritage. In years 2022-25, we lead NAUSIKA HUB – a grass-root space for educators and activists in the heart of the Old Town in Kraków (Poland).

.

Majority of OUR GAMES are published as free of cost open-source, to be used by activists and teachers at their own, while it’s also possible to order from us the service of ORGANIZATION AND FACILITATION of the games, or a PROFESSIONAL TRAINING on how to implement them on your own.
