THEATRE WITH COMMUNITY – SOCIAL MICROOUTOPIAS was an ESC local solidarity project that looks serious and professional, but from the beginning was created by a group of young people from Kraków, who wanted to try:

THEATRE AS A PLACE OF:

retelling and sharing personal life stories
solving and understanding social challenges
raising empathy to people being different
exploring social utopias, both large and small

The project brought many challenges, emotions, experiences, reflections, and new friendships. Monthly meetings and intensive workshops in Królestwo Bez Kresu culminated in an open performance on stage and a banquet in the Teatr Fusion in Kraków.

SOCIAL (MICRO)UTOPIAS encompass a variety of issues, reflections, stories, and dreams related to social phenomena and transformations. Their creation aims to spark reflection, build a sense of community, and encourage potential actions that improve the lives of a small community, such as those living in a given city or district, working in a given company, attending a given school, frequenting a given park, or traveling together on public transport (a definition developed during the meetings).
